Job Description
Overview Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our fast-paced logistics operation! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth flow of inventory, managing shipping and receiving processes, and supporting overall warehouse functions. Your energy and attention to detail will help us deliver exceptional service to our customers while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in warehouse management systems, inventory control, and distribution operations. Duties Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure accuracy and safety. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picking techniques and inventory management software. Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) platforms. Organize stock in designated areas, perform stocking tasks, and ensure proper storage according to safety standards and trade compliance regulations. Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods. Support warehouse operations by loading/unloading trucks, managing order fulfillment processes, and ensuring efficient warehouse distribution. Uphold safety protocols during all activities, including forklift operation, stock handling, and equipment use to prevent accidents or injuries. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate. Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems is advantageous. Basic math skills are essential for counting inventory, measuring packages, and verifying shipments accurately. Demonstrated ability to perform data entry with high accuracy in fast-paced settings. Strong organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure order accuracy and compliance with shipping & receiving procedures. Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, or other warehouse equipment safely; certification is a plus but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members and support customer service initiatives related to order processing.
