Warehouse Associate - Wood Products Manufacturing PrideStaff, a recruiting firm specializing in staffing for Central Oregon businesses, is recruiting for an entry level wood products Manufacturing Associate for a certified zero waste wood products supply facility in Prineville, OR. This is a long term opportunity with a company dedicated to supplying quality wood products to customers, and promoting a teamwork environment for employees, offering a comprehensive benefits package to support your well-being and professional growth.
Core Responsibilities Material Handling:
Receive, unload, process, and stage incoming wood products and materials; assist with loading/unloading delivery trucks.
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick, pack, and prepare customer orders for shipment.
Quality & Safety:
Inspect materials for defects, follow strict safety guidelines (including safe lifting techniques), and maintain a clean warehouse environment.
Inventory Control:
Conduct regular inventory counts and communicate stock levels or operational issues to supervisors.
Qualifications & Skills Experience:
Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred; familiarity with lumber/wood terminology is a plus.
Physical Strength:
Ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs regularly, with the stamina to stand and walk for extended periods.
Attributes:
Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and a strong team player.
Skills:
Basic math for inventory counts; ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility:
