Job Title:
General Production Worker Job Description Join our team as a General Production Worker where you will work on the production line inspecting concrete blocks. Your role will include moving defects into the recycling area, maintaining cleanliness in the local area, moving to the mill, and inspecting bricks coming out of the mold. You will also perform various tasks throughout the plant. Responsibilities Inspect concrete blocks on the production line. Move defective blocks into the recycling area. Maintain cleanliness in the local working area. Inspect bricks coming out of molds at the mill. Perform various tasks throughout the plant. Essential Skills Experience in material handling, warehouse operations, general labor, production, and construction. Attention to detail. Ability to lift up to 30lbs consistently. Additional Skills & Qualifications Ability to be cross-trained throughout the plant. Why Work Here? Work Environment You will work in a concrete mill with open bay doors. The schedule is Monday through Friday from 6:00 am to 4:30 pm, with the possibility of starting as early as 3:00 am due to weather or production needs. Most shifts will start at 3:00 am. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Salem, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.50 - $19.50/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
