We are looking for someone with professional moving and/or contents packout experience who knows how to safely handle, protect, move, and store furniture and other household and commercial contents. The primary focus of this position is moving furniture and other large or heavy items during contents packouts, packbacks, warehouse transfers, and other field work. We operate as a team, however, and everyone is expected to pitch in wherever work needs to be done. When moving work is complete or not immediately available, this position will assist with packing and unpacking contents, warehouse organization, supplies management, and other operational work. Responsibilities Furniture Moving & Protection

• Safely move furniture, appliances, boxes, and other household and commercial contents.
• Properly wrap and protect furniture for transportation and storage using moving blankets, stretch wrap, protective film, straps, and other appropriate materials.
• Protect floors, walls, doorways, stairways, and customers' property while moving contents.
• Use proper lifting, carrying, leverage, and team-lifting techniques to move heavy or awkward items safely.
• Load trucks efficiently and securely to maximize available space while protecting contents from shifting or damage.
• Safely use dollies, hand trucks, furniture carts, straps, ramps, and other moving equipment.
• Unload and place contents in customers' homes or businesses during packbacks. Packouts & Packbacks
• Work as part of the CRS team during residential and commercial contents packouts and packbacks.
• Assist with packing, boxing, inventory handling, labeling, loading, unloading, and unpacking as needed.
• Follow CRS procedures, job instructions, and crew-lead direction when handling, documenting, protecting, transporting, and storing customers' belongings.
• Understand that CRS procedures may be more detailed than practices used by other moving or restoration companies. Follow established CRS procedures consistently, even when a different approach may have been used elsewhere.
• Ask questions when a procedure or instruction is unclear, raise concerns respectfully, and follow established procedures once expectations have been explained.
• Complete required documentation, photographs, labeling, inventory, protection, and other process steps accurately. These requirements support customer service, quality control, safety, and insurance company and third-party administrator requirements.
• Stay engaged and productive throughout the job, helping wherever needed rather than waiting idle when your primary task is temporarily complete. Warehouse
• Move and arrange furniture, boxes, storage vaults, and other contents within the warehouse.
• Gather, put away, clean, and organize moving and packing supplies.
• Monitor supply levels and help identify items that need to be replenished.
• Keep warehouse work areas, equipment, and moving supplies clean, organized, and ready for use.
• Assist with general warehouse organization and rearrangement as storage needs change.
• Follow CRS warehouse, safety, documentation, and contents-handling procedures consistently. Qualifications
• Professional moving and/or contents restoration/packout experience is required.
• Demonstrated experience properly wrapping and protecting furniture for moving and storage.
• Experience loading moving trucks efficiently and securely.
• Ability to life and carry up to 75 pounds independently and safely participate in team lifts of heavier or awkward items.
• Ability to perform physically demanding work throughout the workday, including lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, pushing, pulling, climbing stairs, and working in tight spaces.
• Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record. This position may be asked to drive CRS vehicles.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take direction from a crew lead or supervisor, company owners, and managers.
• Willingness and ability to learn, follow, and consistently apply CRS procedures, including procedures related to safety, documentation, contents protection, inventory, photographs, labeling, transportation, storage, and customer-property handling.

Interview Process As part of the interview process, candidates may be asked to complete a brief, job-related practical demonstration at the CRS warehouse. The demonstration may include explaining and showing how they would wrap and protect a piece of furniture using appropriate materials and techniques. The demonstration is intended to evaluate safe handling, attention to detail, protection of customer property, familiarity with moving methods, ability to follow instructions, and willingness to learn CRS procedures. Candidates should be prepared to receive instructions and coaching during the demonstration and to adjust their approach as requested. Any practical demonstration will be conducted in a safe, consistent manner and will not require candidates to perform tasks beyond their demonstrated physical abilities. Schedule & Compensation This is a full-time position paying $22.00 per hour . Most hours are worked Monday through Friday, although occasional evening or weekend work may be required based on customer and project needs. Paid holidays and PTO are available.
