Crane Operator / Yard Worker Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Crane Operator / Yard Worker to support daily material handling operations in a high-volume steel fabrication environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in safety, and has strong experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes while handling steel and other raw materials. Key Responsibilities Operate forklifts and overhead cranes to move steel and materials throughout the yard Handle materials ranging from small fabricated components to large structural steel beams and columns Safely load and unload materials from delivery trucks Operate yard trucks as needed to support material movement Ensure efficient material flow to meet production and shipping schedules Work closely with team members to support daily operations Perform basic equipment checks and report any issues or malfunctions promptly Accurately track and manage materials using an ERP system Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and protocols Required Qualifications 3+ years of experience operating forklifts and overhead cranes (5-ton capacity or higher) Previous experience in an industrial environment working with raw materials (steel preferred) Ability to remain on your feet and work outdoors for the entire shift with constant movement Experience using an ERP system for material tracking Strong commitment to safety and clear communication skills Physically capable of lifting heavy objects and working in varying weather conditions Preferred Qualifications Experience operating 20-40 ton overhead cranes Comfortable with climbing ladders and walking long distances throughout the facility Team-oriented mindset with a strong customer-service approach Why Join This Company? Schedule:

Day shift: 6:00 AM

• 4:30 PM Monday through Thursday Occasional overtime on Fridays and Saturdays Role requires comfort working outdoors and strict adherence to safety standards
