Order Puller Job Description This role focuses on accurately pulling, receiving, storing, and shipping products within a busy warehouse distribution environment. You handle both physical and administrative tasks related to inventory movement, including checking incoming goods against documentation, preparing merchandise for shipment, and supporting manufacturing and fulfillment operations. The position involves routine assignments with detailed instructions, making it suitable for individuals who are comfortable following established processes and working with material handling equipment. Responsibilities Receive incoming freight by unpacking goods and verifying them against purchase orders or invoices to ensure accuracy. Inspect incoming products and materials, identify unsatisfactory items, and reject or report them as needed. Maintain accurate records of received goods, inventory movements, and shipping documentation. Use RF scanners to pull, receive, and track product within warehouse locations and manufacturing lines. Lift, move, and stack heavy items safely using manual methods and material handling equipment. Operate motorized warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, electronic pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts in a safe and efficient manner. Prepare merchandise for final shipment by posting weights, calculating shipping charges, and packaging goods appropriately. Examine stock levels and distribute materials to designated inventory locations and manufacturing lines as required. Prepare kitting packages for assembly and production according to established procedures. Follow detailed instructions and standard operating procedures for all work assignments. Support overall warehouse operations, including picking, packing, fulfillment, and receiving activities. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in compliance with warehouse safety guidelines. Essential Skills Experience working in a warehouse distribution environment. Hands-on experience operating material handling equipment, including pallet jacks, electronic pallet jacks, cherry pickers, and forklifts. Ability to use an RF scanner to accurately pull, receive, and track product. Ability to receive and inspect incoming freight and stock into appropriate warehouse locations. Experience with core warehouse functions such as picking, packing, material handling, and fulfillment. Capability to lift and move heavy items safely and repeatedly during the shift. Comfort working on routine assignments and following detailed instructions for all tasks. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience as a warehouse worker or distribution warehouse associate. Background as a forklift or power industrial vehicle operator. Experience in receiving operations and inventory distribution within a large facility. Work Environment The role is fully onsite in a standard warehouse and distribution facility with concrete floors and a large square footage layout. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Monday and 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Tuesday through Friday, offering daytime shifts in a structured environment. You work in an active warehouse setting where safety procedures, equipment operation, and efficient movement of goods are part of daily operations, and appropriate work attire suitable for a busy warehouse floor is expected. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Wilsonville, OR. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $22.65 - $22.65/hr.
