The shift start is at 7am and will end when the work is completed no later than 2:30pm, possible overtime avaialble.. We are looking for staff that can work the warehouse moving freight but also step away to focus on packing furniture for our high level customers. This is a great opportunity for a growing position. This position is mostly designed around 1 customer than need Velcro covers applied to the cushions. Responsibilities Support shipping and receiving processes by accurately picking, packing, and preparing orders for shipment or storage. Perform stock replenishment tasks such as stocking shelves and organizing warehouse space to optimize workflow. Handle materials with care during heavy lifting and mechanical operations while adhering to OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient order fulfillment through order picking and packing activities. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to heavy equipment operation and materials handling. Skills Strong knowledge of inventory management techniques and warehouse distribution processes. Experience operating reach trucks, forklifts, cranes, pallet jacks, and other heavy equipment safely. Familiarity with warehouse management systems like RF scanners and AS400 for tracking inventory. Mechanical knowledge related to warehouse machinery and equipment maintenance. Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently while maintaining safety standards set by OSHA. Prior warehouse experience with skills in stocking, order picking & packing, shipping & receiving. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory control and order fulfillment tasks.
