: Performs all job duties required to ensure the warehouse operates efficiently. Ensures warehouse safety and cleanliness by using protective safety equipment, operating machinery safely, and performing any necessary cleaning tasks. Will be required to perform any one or more of the following duties on an as-needed basis. Shipping/Receiving- Reads shipping orders or requisitions to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.
- Sorts and places received materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, color, or product code.
- Operates tier truck or uses hand-truck to move, convey, or hoist shipments from shipping and receiving platform to storage or work area.
- Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves;
- Marks materials with identifying information.
- Opens crates, and other containers. Unpacks and examines incoming shipments, routes items to departments, rejects damaged items, records shortages, and corresponds with shipper to rectify damages and shortages. Adjusts errors and complaints.
- Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed. Compares identifying information and counts, weights, or measures items of incoming and outgoing shipments to verify information against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Uses computer to enter records.
- Compiles worksheets or tickets from customer specifications.
- Inserts items into containers and affixes shipping labels on packed cartons or stencils identifying shipping information on cartons. Nails covers on crates and binds containers with metal tape. Posts weights and shipping charges and affixes postage.
- Provide support for all other functions in the warehouse.
- Other duties, as assigned. Order Picking
- Pulls stock according to FIFO (first in first out) for production orders using handheld device, packs into boxes and on pallets or crates.
- Delivers material to the production floor to appropriate areas accurately and safely according to date on the production order.
- Controls inventory material and checks accuracy of counts.
- Reads and verifies packing labels and list, unloads pallets of materials, and inspects materials for damage.
- Pulls production orders to the floor timely and accurately.
- Provide support for all other functions in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned. Inventory Control
- Delivers materials to the production floor, placing materials and products in the appropriate areas accurately and safely
- Controls inventory material and checks accuracy of counts
- Performs daily cycle counts
- Reports all production consumable journal transactions
- Pulls production requests and delivers to floor timely and accurately.
- Provides support for all other functions in the warehouse.
- Other duties as assigned Stocking
- Puts away stock according to FIFO (first in first out) requirements.
- Accurately transfers all products to correct bin locations and correct quantity using scanning technology.
- Maintains correct inventory levels in the picking locations by filling from bulk locations as well as following FIFO guidelines.
- When required unloads freight from trucks using appropriate equipment.
- Maintains a high awareness of the importance of inventory accuracy and the correlation between stock put away and accuracy of transfers Warehouse Administrative Assistant
- Organizes production orders so that the orders are picked in the correct order based on production's need.
- Assigns daily the orders for pickers with priority on all urgent orders first.
- Generates and assigns cycle counts daily from the A, B, C inventory cycle count procedure.
- Accurately reads and verified packaging labels, pick tickets, spreadsheets, Word documents.
- Monitors and answers emails proficiently.
- May be required to inspect materials for damage.
- Ability to understand the root cause of most inventory errors and how to resolve them.
EXPERIENCE
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two to three years' related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.QUALIFICATIONS

Experience with Scan Guns Experience in all areas of Shipping
- Knowledge of manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Ability to safely drive forklifts and WAVES (training will be provided)
- Ability to perform all duties efficiently and effectively.
- Basic computer knowledge, basic math skills, and scale use required.
- 2-3 years warehouse experience is preferred
- Knowledge of inventory control and accuracy preferred
- Meticulous attention to detail required Forklift certified - sit down, stand up and/or both
