Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Stockroom/Warehouse Associate to join our dynamic logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently managing inventory, operating heavy equipment, and supporting warehouse distribution operations. Your energetic approach will help ensure seamless order fulfillment, accurate stock control, and safe handling of materials. Responsibilities
- Receive and verify incoming shipments against invoices
- Stock, label and organize automotive parts and supplies in designated locations
- Pull and stage parts for counter sales, deliveries and commercial customers
- Maintain accurate inventory through proper handling and rotation of stock
- Perform cycle counts and assist with physical inventory as required
- Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, carts or pallet jacks
- Maintain cleanliness and safety of stockroom, warehouse and receiving areas
- Assist counter staff and delivery drivers as needed
- Follow company policies, safety procedures and loss prevention guidelines
- Other duties as assigned
QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED preferred
- Previous warehouse, stockroom or retail experience helpful but not required
- Basic computer skills and ability to learn inventory systems
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
- Ability to stand, walk and move throughout the shift
- Ability to lift, carry, push and pull items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Ability to bend, stoop, reach, kneel and climb ladders as needed
- Ability to work in a warehouse environment with temperature variations
