Job Description

Tempstar is seeking a Warehouse Associate to perform an array of duties such as receiving and processing incoming stock, maintaining the warehouse in an orderly manner, and fulfilling, orders for shipment. 7am-330pm Monday-Friday Education and Experience High School education or equivalent (GED); 2 years' experience working in a warehouse environment, preferred. Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities Receiving and Processing Unload, verify, and label incoming shipments. Inspect and report any discrepancies or damages to the supervisor. Sort, organize, and store inventory in designated locations. Order Fulfillment Accurately pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment. Ensure that orders are complete and match the packing list. Utilize warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, as needed. Inventory Management Conduct regular cycle counts and assist with periodic physical inventory. Monitor inventory levels and communicate restocking needs to the supervisor. Warehouse Maintenance Keep the warehouse clean and organized. Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment, or maintenance needs. Quality Control Perform quality checks on products to maintain high standards. Follow procedures for handling and disposing of damaged or expired items. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate or similar role. Ability to operate warehouse equipment, including forklifts and pallet jacks. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Physical ability to lift and move heavy items. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking.
Pay:
$20.00 - $23.00 per hour
