Job Description
Your Contribution Maintain a flow of materials through production operations Package glass in proper containers verifying product with packing slip Involve nailing, banding, weighing, labeling, and transporting to and from plant areas or to a storage or drop area Load, unload, and deliver materials received or shipped to designated locations Check receivers Fill designated orders for shipment by pulling glass from storage and drop areas Maintain inventory of stored items by location and performs monthly inventory cycle counts Operate moving, lifting, and tiering equipment to load, unload, and warehouse material to pull designated orders from storage for shipment Prepare outgoing shipments and forwards paperwork to billing/ shipping coordinator Scan and check orders into Lower Warehouse Maintain orderliness and cleanliness within work areas Implement 5S plus safety principles within work areas Build crates or special packaging as needed Sort and deliver UPS and FedEx deliveries Locate glass and other material into inventory when necessary Other duties as assigned Your Profile Must have previous stand-up forklift/Raymond experience. 1-3 years experience in a warehouse environment Must have your high school diploma/GED Your Benefits We offer a wide range of benefits to meet your needs to include medical, dental, vision, 401K, vacation, holidays, personal days, enhanced 401k retirement savings, short-term disability, etc. This position is covered by a union collective bargaining agreement. Starting rate is $26.58 and includes 6 month progression increases up to 18 months.
