We are seeking a dedicated Laborer/Glazier to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist in various construction tasks and projects, ensuring the smooth operation of the worksite. Candidates must have a valid Driver's License. Duties

Installation of Glass Materials :

Measure, cut, install, and replace glass in various settings, including windows, doors, and skylights.

Glass Repair and Maintenance :

Assess and repair damaged glass or seals, including replacing broken panes and ensuring seals are secure.

Blueprint/Drawing Interpretation :

Read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings to determine specifications and installation techniques.

Surface Preparation :

Prepare surfaces for installation by cleaning, scraping, or applying sealants as necessary.

Safety Compliance :

Follow all safety protocols and guidelines when handling glass materials and operating tools and equipment.

Customer Consultation :

Interact with clients to assess their needs and provide recommendations on glass types and installation methods.

Tools and Equipment Usage :

Use a variety of hand and power tools to cut, shape, and install glass materials.

Quality Control :

Inspect finished work for quality and ensure that installations meet building codes and safety standards.

Collaboration :

Work alongside other construction professionals, such as carpenters and contractors, to ensure effective project completion. Requirements

• Must have valid driver's license
• Working construction experience a must, however we will train
• Familiarity with blueprints/drawings and proper measuring techniques
• Ability to lift and carefully handle heavy panes of glass
• Arithmetic skills to determine sizing for fasteners and glass
• Thorough understanding of common glazing techniques would be a plus
• Knowledge of how to properly use tools such as grinders, glass cutters, caulk guns, finish nailers, utility knives, etc.
• Attentiveness to detail to ensure proper alignment of glass and to spot any defects in installation
• Ability to remain upright throughout a shift and to move through difficult-to-access spaces as needed
