Job Description Summary:
The Warehouse Associate performs tasks related to receiving, storing and shipping product, and creating, fulfilling and processing customer orders. Maintain safety, accuracy and efficiency standards during all stages of the daily operations. Contribute to a positive culture and maintain flexibility to assist departments outside their normal daily functions.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform functions related to receiving of product including new, used, service, and returned goods, observing all safety precautions Read customer orders, shipping orders, or requisitions to determine items to be picked and shipped Move materials and items from receiving or storage areas to shipping or to other designated areas Assemble and pack customer orders from stock and place orders on pallets or in bins Process orders using approved carrier's online service Pack all items using proper procedures to prevent damages. Include packing slip with each order Attach required labels to packages, compliant with all HAZMAT shipping laws and requirements Verify items on order for accuracy Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations Assist in other areas of the warehouse as needed
Skills/Experience Required:
Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent Two to four years of experience in warehousing preferred Experience with personal computer equipment Experience driving material handling equipment (Reach Truck, Cherry Picker, Forklift) preferred Ability to use carrier's computer shipping system for processing, labeling and tracking packages Ability to work in and contribute to a positive team environment Ability to work in fast-paced warehouse environment Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
