Pay Range:
$20.00/hour We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Material Handler - Production to support daily manufacturing operations. This position is responsible for ensuring that materials and parts are available and delivered to the appropriate production areas according to production schedules and order priorities. The ideal candidate will have experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, inventory, or material-handling environment and be comfortable working with production schedules, work orders, inventory records, and material movement.
Key Responsibilities:
Review production schedules, inventory reports, and work orders to determine the type and quantity of materials required. Check material availability and prioritize material movement based on production requirements. Locate, pick, stage, and distribute materials and parts to designated production areas. Move materials using hand carts, hand trucks, forklifts, or other material-handling equipment. Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records for materials and parts received, stocked, and distributed. Track material quantities and maintain perpetual inventory records using computer systems or manual documentation. Communicate with production supervisors regarding material shortages, overdue materials, and inventory status. Inspect incoming materials and verify part numbers, quantities, labels, and condition. Identify and report discrepancies such as damaged, missing, unmarked, or incorrect parts. Compare work-ticket specifications with materials used at production workstations to ensure the correct materials are assigned. Maintain production, material inventory, and related records accurately. Deliver materials to other work areas or facilities as needed. Monitor the status of material and production orders and communicate updates to appropriate personnel. Follow all company safety procedures and material-handling guidelines.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Previous experience in material handling, warehouse operations, inventory control, production support, or manufacturing preferred. Ability to read and understand production schedules, work orders, inventory reports, and material requirements. Basic computer skills and ability to maintain accurate records. Strong attention to detail when verifying part numbers, quantities, and material condition. Good communication and organizational skills. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment. Ability to safely lift, move, and transport materials as required. Forklift experience/certification is a plus. Experience with an ERP, inventory management, or warehouse management system is a plus. (TB-R1) #IND1
Pay:
$19.00 - $20.00 per hour

Do you have experience pulling, staging, and delivering materials or parts to production workstations based on production schedules or work orders? Do you have experience verifying part numbers, quantities, labels, or material specifications and identifying discrepancies? What material-handling equipment have you operated? (Forklift, Hand truck, Pallet jack, Hand cart): Do you have current forklift certification or documented forklift operating experience? Have you used an ERP, WMS, inventory management, or warehouse computer system to record or track materials? Which systems have you used? (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, WMS/Inventory Management System, Other ERP system): Are you comfortable using a computer to enter inventory transactions, update material status, and maintain production/material records? Are you able to regularly stand, walk, bend, and move materials throughout a manufacturing or warehouse environment? Are you able to safely lift and move materials as required for the position?
