Job Description
Responsibilities & Expectations:
The Warehouse Associate supports the receipt, storage, movement, and dispatch of renewable energy equipment, including inverters, power electronics, and related components used in solar, wind, and battery storage. This role is key to ensuring equipment flows safely and efficiently between the warehouse, workshop, and customers.- Receive, unload, and check incoming renewable energy equipment and parts
- Book equipment into warehouse systems and apply correct labelling
- Pick, pack, and prepare equipment for dispatch or internal transfer
- Move equipment between the warehouse, workshop, and storage areas using safe manual handling techniques and lifting aids
- Assist with stock control, cycle counts, and basic inventory checks
- Support workshop teams by staging equipment for repair and refurbishment
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment
- Follow company procedures, quality standards, and health & safety requirements
- Report damaged goods, shortages, or discrepancies
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Willingness to learn warehouse processes and systems
- Basic reading and comprehension skills (English)
- Good attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks, including lifting 30-60 lbs (with lifting aids)
- Comfortable performing repetitive tasks accurately
- Reliable, punctual, and safety-conscious
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse, logistics, or stock handling experience preferred
- Experience handling technical, electrical, or industrial equipment preferred
- Forklift license or experience (training available) preferred
- Familiarity with inventory or warehouse management systems preferred
