• 10:20pm We are currently seeking motivated colleagues to contribute to meaningful work in our local manufacturing plants.

Our positions perform meaningful work and includes exposure to advancing technologies, having a voice to challenge our status quo, and training for career advancement. We offer on the job training to start you on your journey with Bayer! Our Indianola location operates on a 3 eight-hour shift schedule.

First Shift:

6am-2:20pm, 2nd

Shift:

2pm

• 10:20pm, 3rd

Shift:

10pm

• 6:20am, Monday through Friday.

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

The primary responsibilities of this role, Material Handler, are to:

• Follow all documented processes and procedures;
• Maintain physical transport of materials and complete all required Statistical Analysis Plan (SAP) transactions using appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and material handling equipment;
• Finish product packaging using visual work instructions according to all regulatory requirements;
• Complete all required transactional steps to receive and ship material.

Required Qualifications:

• High school diploma or General Educational Development (GED);
• Demonstrate working knowledge of MicroSoft (MS) Office applications;
• Able to operate independently;
• Demonstrate problem solving abilities;
• Support strong attention to detail;
• Able to work in team environment;
• Able to quickly learn new Information Technology (IT) systems and tools.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of work experience;
• The ability to learn to Operate a powered industrial truck (fork truck), as needed.

Employees can expect to be paid a starting hourly wage of $17.50 per hour. Additional compensation may include a bonus or incentive compensation (if relevant). Additional benefits include health care, vision, dental, retirement, PTO, sick leave, etc..
