Responsibilities include:
Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, stackers, and CombiLifts Transport heavy materials safely inside and outside of buildings Maintain inventory by identifying, labeling, stocking, and recording materials and supplies Obtain work orders and determine production material requirements Pull and verify materials and supplies listed on production orders Verify items and quantities on packing slips for receiving and shipping Package materials and parts for safe shipment to internal and external customers Respond to material requests from internal customers Prepare bills of lading and delivery forms Perform cycle counts as requested Use the inventory computer system to track and manage materials Sort items according to destination and verify they match purchase orders Maintain a safe and clean work environment Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
Basic computer knowledge Ability to successfully complete IMT forklift training Ability to obtain and maintain an IMT forklift license Ability to learn and understand lean manufacturing concepts
Preferred:
6+ months of experience in a manufacturing environment Physical & Safety Requirements Safety glasses and safety shoes required at all times Respirator required when painting and during certain paint preparation activities Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repetitively Ability to safely operate material handling equipment Ready to Apply?
