Jerr-Dan manufactures towing and recovery equipment used around the world. Entry-level and experienced candidates are encouraged to apply! No high school diploma or GED required. Pay & Schedule $21.00-$24.65 per hour , based on experience +$1.75/hour shift differential 1st and 2nd shift available Overtime as needed, typically Fridays and Saturdays $1,500 sign-on bonus , paid in 3 installments during your first year Benefits & Perks Healthcare benefits 401(k) Paid vacation and holidays Paid volunteer time Career development opportunities Production bonuses Unlimited $200 employee referral bonuses - ask your recruiter for details What You'll Do As an Industrial Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint and other coatings to Jerr-Dan products using electrostatic and air-assist spray equipment and other paint application tools.
Responsibilities include:
Prime, paint, and touch up vehicles using spray equipment and brushes Mask and unmask parts to meet specifications Sand, wash, and prepare parts for painting Perform light bodywork as needed Mix paint to achieve the proper color, viscosity, and consistency Apply decals, stencils, and rust-proofing as required Clean, maintain, and troubleshoot painting equipment Inspect products before, during, and after the painting process Move parts, racks, and assemblies using material handling equipment such as forklifts and overhead cranes Maintain a clean and organized work area Perform other duties as assigned
Qualifications Required:
6+ months of painting experience in automotive, heavy vehicle/equipment, manufacturing, industrial, or automotive body shop environments Strong mathematical skills Basic mechanical aptitude
Preferred:
