Position Description:
Join a dynamic team as a Warehouse Specialist supporting Department of Defense (DoD) operations. In this role, you'll oversee storage facility inspections, supervise material handling equipment (MHE) like forklifts and tractors, and manage preventive maintenance programs. Responsible for developing warehouse layout plans, monitoring space control systems, analyzing MHE requirements, and ensuring secure storage of hardware and software. Maintain and update computer-based warehouse applications, perform inventory audits, track shelf life items, and operate handheld OCR scanners and multimedia retrieval systems. Supervise procedures including location surveys, warehouse security, staging materials, inventory management, receiving, shipping, and safety protocols. You'll also review delivery and receipt processes, prepare Supply Discrepancy Reports (SDRs), and ensure compliance with safety and security standards. Must have experience with DoD warehouse operations, a valid 6k forklift license, and operation licenses for bulk and small parts conveyer systems.
