The Shipping Warehouse Office Clerk is responsible for managing shipping and receiving paperwork, processing orders, maintaining inventory records, and providing administrative support to warehouse operations. This position works closely with warehouse staff, drivers, carriers, and customers to ensure accurate and timely shipments. Key Responsibilities Prepare and process shipping and receiving documents, including bills of lading, packing slips, invoices, and shipping labels. Schedule inbound and outbound shipments with freight carriers and delivery services. Enter and maintain shipping, receiving, and inventory data in warehouse management systems (WMS), MDLZ Mysis, MDLZ SAP backup. Verify shipment accuracy by matching orders with packing lists and inventory records. Communicate with customers, vendors, and carriers regarding shipment status, delays, or discrepancies Maintain organized filing systems for shipping and inventory records. Assist with inventory counts and reconcile inventory discrepancies. Answer phones, respond to emails, and provide general administrative support. Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in warehouse administration, shipping, logistics, or office support preferred. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook). Experience using warehouse management systems (WMS). Strong data entry and organizational skills. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Basic math and recordkeeping skills. Attention to detail and accuracy. Physical Requirements Ability to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 25-30 pounds. Work in both office and warehouse environments with varying temperatures. Preferred Skills Knowledge of shipping procedures and freight documentation. Familiarity with UPS, FedEx, USPS, and LTL freight shipping systems. Customer service experience. Problem-solving and time management skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
