Performance Food Group is seeking a reliable Night Shift Loader to support our wholesale food distribution operations. Working overnight in a fast-paced warehouse, you will safely load and unload trucks, accurately stage and scan products, and verify orders against documentation. This role requires consistent attention to safety, quality, and productivity standards while operating pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment. You'll collaborate closely with team members and supervisors to ensure timely, accurate deliveries for our restaurant, healthcare, and retail customers nationwide. Responsibilities Safely load and unload trucks with food and related products Verify product, quantities, and labels against load sheets or manifests Operate pallet jacks and other material-handling equipment Stage, wrap, and secure pallets to prevent damage in transit Use RF scanners or labels to track and confirm orders Follow company and OSHA safety procedures and PPE requirements Maintain a clean, organized loading area and dock Communicate load issues or discrepancies to supervisors Work efficiently to meet nightly shipping schedules Collaborate with team members to support overall warehouse goals Required Skills Warehouse operations Order picking Pallet jack operation Forklift operation RF scanner use Inventory control Basic math Understanding of OSHA/safety standards Loading and unloading trucks Reading bills of lading
