Life Insurance Job Description:

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a role in ensuring freight and inventory move accurately, safely, and on schedule. Working with an experienced management team, you will support daily shipping and receiving operations, maintain warehouse organization, and keep logistics data accurate for supply chain execution.

Responsibilities:

Safely offload incoming product and load outbound freight on trailers Read and interpret customer orders, work orders, shipping orders, and requisitions to gather, assemble, and distribute items accurately Check in incoming shipments, verify counts, and match purchase orders against sales orders to ensure billing and inventory accuracy Track daily pick-ups and deliveries to verify that incoming and outgoing loads arrive on time and in good condition Take scheduled check calls from truck drivers to monitor load status and ensure delivery timelines are met Review and validate all load details and documentation before marking shipments as delivered for accounting and billing purposes Keep high-traffic areas, aisles, and loading docks clear, clean, and safe for employee and customer movement Adhere strictly to all safety protocols, procedures, and proper lifting guidelines Participate in regular inventory counts, stock audits, and product assembly as required

Education:

No formal education required.

Experience:

Available to work a variety of shifts, including days, evenings, nights and weekends Loading/unloading trailers Using handheld scanners Critical thinking to carry out verbal, written or diagram form instructions

Physical:

Must be able to lift, push or pull at least 75 lbs Ability to load and unload trucks

Skills:

Basic written and verbal communication skills Basic computer skills

Related Experience:

Previous dock or warehouse experience in the transportation/logistics industry, Hands-on experience loading/unloading trailers and securing freight, Familiar with handheld RF scanners and inventory tracking tools
