Warehouse and Material Handling Associate Quakertown, PA Monday to Friday 6:30am to 3:00pm Position Overview A growing manufacturing and distribution facility is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Warehouse & Material Handling Associate to join the team. This position offers consistent first-shift hours, a collaborative work environment, and a competitive benefits package.
Key Responsibilities Inventory Management:
Check inventory levels, refill stock bins for the pick-and-pack area, organize stock, verify locations, and update records in the ERP system.
Order Fulfillment:
Assist in the pick-and-pack area as needed, ensuring accurate order selection by carefully reading part numbers and specifications.
Quality & Compliance:
Follow written standard operating procedures in accordance with quality management system guidelines (e.g., ISO standards).
Equipment & Tool Operation:
Safely operate hand and power tools (torque wrenches, pneumatic grinders, impact guns, drills, taps, dies), as well as material handling equipment (overhead cranes, forklifts, pallet jacks).
Safety Adherence:
Consistently wear required personal protective equipment (PPE), including safety glasses, hearing protection, bump caps, steel-toed boots, and protective outerwear. Qualifications & Requirements High School Diploma or equivalent required. 1-2+ years of relevant warehouse, assembly, or mechanical material handling experience. Hands-on experience operating mechanical hand tools, specifically torque wrenches. Basic computer proficiency (ERP system experience is a strong plus). Strong attention to detail and ability to follow written technical instructions. Physical capability to sit, stand, kneel, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout an 8-10 hour shift. Reliable work ethic and a collaborative team mindset.
