As a Loader Operator, you will play an important role in our daily quarry operations by safely and efficiently operating front-end loaders to move, load, and stockpile aggregate materials. Load and transport aggregate materials. Build and maintain aggregate stockpiles. Load trucks and assist with daily quarry production operations. Perform daily pre-shift equipment inspections and safety checks. Perform routine cleaning, lubrication, and basic maintenance of equipment. Report equipment problems, maintenance needs, and safety concerns to supervisors. Follow directions regarding work areas, material placement, production requirements, and safety procedures. Maintain awareness of employees, trucks, equipment, and other hazards while operating machinery. Operate equipment safely on quarry property and public or private roadways when required. Follow all company safety rules, procedures, and applicable regulations. Assist in training new employees on the safe and proper operation of equipment. Operate other heavy equipment and assist with additional quarry or construction duties as needed. Perform other duties as assigned. What We're Looking For Previous experience operating a front-end loader or similar heavy equipment. 2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience preferred. 1+ year of quarry or aggregate industry experience preferred. High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Valid driver's license required. Strong safety awareness and a commitment to working safely. Ability to follow instructions and work effectively with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to work independently while being a dependable member of the team. Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and participate in random drug testing.
