Shift:
Third Shift Warehouse Worker (General Warehouse Operations) 3rd Shift Throop, PA (Full Time / Permanent Opportunities) Pennsylvania Steel is a leading distributor of steel and aluminum. We are a privately held and veteran owned business. Pennsylvania Steel has been in business since 1972 and has expanded to 11 locations in 2017, becoming one of the largest Steel Service Centers in the eastern United States. The Throop, PA branch is looking for a Warehouse Person for our 3rd Shift. This is a full time and permanent opportunity with our company. Position Objective:
To contribute to the attainment of company sales and profitability by performing an array of functions that may include receiving and processing incoming stock, picking and filling orders from stock, processing material (i.e. saw cutting, shearing or burning) to customer's requirements or managing, organizing and retrieving stock in the warehouse.
Position Responsibilities:
Receiving and processing incoming stock Preparing and completing customer orders, including pulling and/or cutting stock material Loading delivery trucks for customer delivery Keeping a clean and safe working environment Communicating and cooperating with supervisors and coworkers Operating and maintaining warehouse vehicles and equipment Following the company's quality system Complying with all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes

Customer complaints Production errors Non-conformity reports Safety/Regulatory issues Equipment issues
Experience and Skills:
Must be at least 18 years old Must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation Must be able to stand and/or walk for up to 8-10 hours daily Must be able to read measuring equipment (tape measure, caliper and micrometer) Must have acceptable mathematical skills Must be willing to be trained and operate industrial equipment including saws, cranes, forklifts and standard tractor trailers Must be willing to work overtime when required Previous work experience receiving, loading/unloading material, packing, labeling or picking within a warehouse environment a plus
