Job Description

Headway is seeking a Licensed Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to deliver high-quality, outpatient mental health care through our tech-enabled platform. In this role, you will conduct psychiatric evaluations, provide ongoing medication management, and create evidence-based treatment plans for a diverse adult population. You'll collaborate closely with therapists and other providers, supported by streamlined scheduling, billing, and insurance tools. Responsibilities Provide psychiatric evaluations and ongoing medication management for adult patients in an outpatient setting Develop and adjust individualized treatment plans aligned with evidence-based practices Collaborate closely with therapists, primary care providers, and care coordinators to ensure continuity of care Maintain accurate, timely clinical documentation and comply with all regulatory and insurer requirements Use Headway's technology platform to manage scheduling, telehealth sessions, and patient communication Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment options, and medication adherence Participate in case reviews, quality improvement efforts, and clinical meetings as needed Uphold ethical standards, confidentiality, and cultural competence in all clinical interactions Required Skills Psychiatric evaluation Medication management Diagnostic assessment (DSM-5) Electronic health records (EHR) Telehealth platforms Psychopharmacology Risk assessment and crisis intervention Care coordination Clinical documentation Patient and family education
