Job Description
Responsibilities:
- Safely and efficiently operate yard vehicles and equipment
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicles and equipment to ensure they are in proper working order.
- Transport materials and goods within the yard or between different locations as directed.
- Ability to operate a forklift between trailer moves or wait periods.
- Ability to operator machines between trailer moves or wait periods.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Keep track of inventory loaded onto trailers
Qualifications:
- HS Diploma or GED required
- Valid CDL-A license with a clean driving record.
- Experience operating manual transmission vehicles is required.
- Basic automotive repair knowledge is beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and follow instructions accurately.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
