Job Description

Job Summary Mix materials by prescribed bills-of-material for all presses in operation in such a manner as to ensure full traceability of materials throughout the process.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities Ensure that molding materials are supplied in adequate quantity to provide for uninterrupted operation of the molding process. Complete all necessary documentation to: Supply adequate lot verification and acceptability to satisfy Quality Assurance requirements. Record accurate information at color changes such as return-to-stock items and transfers using the RF gun. Maintain a high standard of cleanliness in the work areas to minimize the possibility of contamination of raw material. Mix special blends of materials at the request of engineering or manufacturing management as needed. Remove all resin and concentrate from the Quarantine Area when it has been approved. Locate in its proper place using the RF gun. Perform PM's on all equipment associated with Mixing in the MP2 program. Assist in the taking of physical inventories as needed. Preventative maintenance of tools. Assist in the setting of tooling and applying auxiliary equipment to tooling. Perform color changes. Be able to operate MP2, SAP, G2, Mattec and Word programs proficiently and pull up reports for these programs as needed. Actively participate and comply with all West HSE programs and regulations. Maintain a neat and orderly work environment in accordance with West 5S program. Other duties as assigned. Education High School Diploma Or equivalent required Work Experience Minimum 1 year of mixing experience is preferred. Preferred Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Must have current or previous forklift experienceMust have good communication skillsMust have excellent attention to detailLicense and Certifications Manufacturing\Forklift Certification within 30 Days preferred Travel Requirements
