Seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join a dynamic team at medical equipment warehouse facility. This role is responsible for the accurate and timely picking, packing, and shipping of medical equipment, ensuring that all products are handled with the highest standards of care and quality.
Responsibilities:
Order Fulfillment:
Accurately pick and pack medical equipment and supplies according to customer orders and ensure timely shipment.
Quality Control:
Inspect products for damage or defects and ensure all items are labeled and packaged according to company and industry standards.
Shipping and Receiving:
Handle the receiving of incoming shipments, verifying quantities and quality, and organize products within the warehouse.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
Documentation:
Maintain accurate records of inventory movements, order fulfillment, and shipping details.
Team Collaboration:
Work closely with other team members and departments to ensure smooth and efficient warehouse operations.
Equipment Operation:
Safely operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment to move, load, unload, and store inventory. Participate in forklift certification and training requirements as needed.
Qualifications:
Experience:
Previous experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics role, preferably in a medical or healthcare-related field, a plus. Experience operating a forklift or willingness to obtain forklift certification.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift, stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
Attention to
Detail:
Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy in all tasks.
Technical Skills:
Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) and basic computer skills, a plus.
Communication:
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Team Player:
Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment.
