12-Hour Day Shift | 3-2-2-3 Rotation Contract-to-Hire Opportunity with Excellent Benefits Upon Conversion What You'll Do As a valued member of the production team, you will: Assemble boxes and packaging components by hand Pack finished products, instructions, and materials for shipment Perform production line duties including: Packing Labeling Material handling Inventory support Conduct quality inspections and report defects promptly Support TPM, 5S, line audits, and production documentation Assist with line changeovers and workstation preparation Use RF scanners and inventory tracking systems Help maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area Support basic machine cleaning and preventative care activities Collaborate with teammates to keep production running efficiently and on schedule What We're Looking For Required Experience & Skills 1-2 years of manufacturing, production, warehouse, or packaging experience Previous assembly line experience performing repetitive tasks Ability to stand and work for extended periods (8-12 hour shifts) Experience with: Packaging Packing orders Material handling Inventory tasks Warehouse operations Familiarity with: RF scanners Quality inspections Production reporting Performance-driven environments Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality Reliable work history with steady employment and minimal gaps Physical Requirements This is an active, hands-on role requiring: Continuous standing and walking Frequent bending, twisting, and squatting Repetitive hand and arm motions Constant grabbing and pinching activities Lifting and moving products up to 33 pounds Working shoulder-to-shoulder as part of a production team Preferred Qualifications Candidates with any of the following will stand out: High School Diploma or GED Warehouse packing and labeling experience Knowledge of TPM, 5S, and quality audit processes General labor experience in manufacturing environments Exposure to machine operation Experience following SOPs and structured production processes Interest in advancing into machine operation or material handling positions Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colonial Heights, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $21.42 - $21.42/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
