On-Site Position Summary A&H Manufacturing is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse / Shipping & Inventory Control Associate to support daily warehouse, shipping, order picking, receiving, and inventory control operations. This position is responsible for accurately picking and preparing customer orders, receiving and organizing materials, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring products are properly packaged and shipped. The ideal candidate is comfortable working in a manufacturing warehouse environment, has good computer skills, and is able to work efficiently while maintaining a high level of accuracy. Essential Responsibilities- Pick customer orders accurately according to sales orders, packing lists, and shipping instructions.
- Verify product numbers, quantities, and customer information before orders are shipped.
- Pack, label, and prepare orders for shipment using appropriate shipping methods.
- Receive incoming materials and products and verify quantities against purchase orders or receiving documents.
- Put away and organize inventory in designated warehouse locations.
- Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counting and physical inventory.
- Enter and update inventory, shipping, receiving, and order information in the company's computer system.
- Investigate inventory discrepancies and report shortages, overages, or damaged materials.
- Maintain organized and clearly identified warehouse locations.
- Assist with loading and unloading trucks and moving materials throughout the warehouse.
- Prepare shipping documentation, labels, packing slips, and other required paperwork.
- Coordinate with Customer Service, Production, Purchasing, and Sales regarding orders and inventory requirements.
- Monitor inventory levels and notify management of low-stock or missing items.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
- Follow all company safety procedures, including proper material-handling and forklift procedures.
- Assist with general warehouse duties and other responsibilities as assigned. Computer & Inventory Skills
- Ability to use computers and warehouse/inventory software.
- Experience entering and retrieving information from inventory or ERP systems preferred.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, email, and basic computer applications.
- Ability to accurately enter data and maintain electronic records.
- Experience with barcode scanners, shipping software, or inventory tracking systems is a plus.
- Ability to learn new computer and inventory systems quickly. Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, order picking, or inventory experience preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to read and understand packing lists, purchase orders, work orders, and shipping documents.
- Ability to perform basic math, including counting quantities and verifying inventory.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Good communication skills.
- Dependable attendance and punctuality.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and pull materials as required.
- Forklift experience/certification preferred.
- Manufacturing or distribution experience is a plus. Physical Requirements
