2 Job Overview We are hiring Material Handlers to support a busy manufacturing facility in West Warwick, RI. This position is responsible for making sure production areas have the materials and packaging they need to keep operations running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with at least 1 year of warehouse experience , especially experience in a manufacturing environment. Responsibilities Supply raw materials and packaging to production areas Receive incoming shipments and unload trucks Count, label, and properly store materials Replenish warehouse and production areas as needed Return unused materials to the warehouse Perform daily inventory cycle counts Load and unload materials from machines, conveyors, and shipping areas Respond to production requests for materials and packaging Assist the Quality team as needed Complete paperwork accurately Communicate inventory or material issues to the appropriate team members Maintain a clean and safe work environment Requirements High school diploma or equivalent At least 1 year of warehouse experience Manufacturing experience strongly preferred Previous experience using a hand jack is a plus Ability to stand for extended periods Ability to lift up to 30 lbs. continuously, with assisted lifts allowed Strong attendance and reliability Schedule & Pay 1st Shift $18-$20/hour , depending on experience Temporary position expected to last 6+ months Potential for extension or permanent hire Additional Information This position is based in a warehouse/manufacturing environment with little to no travel.
