Olsten Staffing is assisting a local client in Cheraw, South Carolina to find an experienced and eager service operator to join their growing team! A service operator helps maintain the cleanliness of the weave room and warehouse while assisting with production and material-handling duties.

Responsibilities:

Clean and maintain the Weave Room and Warehouse areas Clean and brush looms Sweep and mop floors and clean walls and ceilings Empty selvage cans from looms Use a forklift as needed Doff cloth from looms at specified lengths Load creels as needed Operate backwinders for fabric orders and tracer yarn Maintain a clean and safe work environment Follow all company safety and production procedures

Requirements:

Must have a valid forklift certification OR a valid driver's license Ability to perform physical cleaning and material-handling duties Reliable and dependable Ability to work in a manufacturing environment Willingness to learn and perform multiple job duties This position will start at $16 an hour and is predominantly 2nd shift. Pay Details:
