Shipping / Receiving Job Summary Rotating schedule 2-2-3 $18-$19/hr Day shift 7a-7p Night shift 7p-7a The Forklift Operator / Warehouse Associate is responsible for safely and efficiently moving, loading, unloading, and organizing products within a warehouse and distribution center environment. This position requires experience operating various types of forklifts, including sit-down, stand-up, and reach lifts, as well as the ability to work safely around large and double-stacked pallets. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, comfortable operating material handling equipment, and able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Safely operate sit-down forklifts, stand-up forklifts, and reach lifts to move and organize materials. Load and unload trucks using powered industrial equipment. Move, stage, and store large pallets throughout the warehouse. Safely handle and maneuver double-stacked pallets. Use RF scanners, handheld scanners, or other warehouse technology to accurately track inventory and product movement. Follow proper material handling procedures and warehouse safety guidelines. Inspect loads and equipment to ensure safe handling and transportation of products. Maintain an organized and safe work area. Communicate effectively with team members, drivers, and warehouse personnel. Meet productivity and accuracy expectations while maintaining a strong focus on safety. Training & Certification New hires will train on 1st shift, Monday-Friday, 7:00 AM-3:30 PM for approximately 1-2 weeks . Onsite forklift certification is required before operating powered industrial trucks independently. Forklift certification may be completed on any day of the week based on operational and training needs. Physical & Work Environment Requirements Ability to safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment. Ability to work comfortably with large pallets and double-stacked pallets. Ability to sit, stand, reach, bend, and move throughout the warehouse as required. Ability to work safely and efficiently in a fast-paced distribution center environment.
