Job Description

The Warehouse Associate will work closely with supervisor and peers to ensure the proper execution of daily warehouse functions, including focus on overall customer satisfaction. As a Warehouse Associate with Travers, you will be responsible for:
ORDER PROCESSING AND SHIPPING
Process, pack, and ship orders accurately Prepare products for shipping
INVENTORY MANAGEMENT
Maintain inventory of products; restock as needed Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves or in bins according to organizational standards Daily Cycle counts, including system updates to maintain accuracy levels Receive inventory, inspect for damages and discrepancies; report as needed Maintain inventory of products, restock as needed following organizational standards
QUALITY CONTROL
: Inspect products for damages and discrepancies; report as needed
WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE
Maintain a clean and orderly warehouse environment Operate sit-down forklift
SAFETY AND CUSTOMER SERVICE
Follow all safety protocol and warehouse procedures Maintain and promote high standards of customer service
METRICS:
Maintain picking or inspecting accuracy of 99.9% Meet efficiency standards Contribute to same day shipping goal of 99.7% Complete cross-training in 2 areas in first year
QUALIFICATIONS
High School diploma or equivalent preferred 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience preferred Valid forklift certification Strong communication, organizational, time management, and mathematical skills Dependable and Reliable Inventory, equipment maintenance, data entry and computer skills may be required Physical stamina and dexterity necessary for the work; ability to lift or move at least 40 lbs. Strong team player Ability to work from 11:00 am till 7:30 pm

Program :
Up to 17 PTO days per year are provided for scheduled (vacation, personal, routine medical appointments) and unscheduled (sick, emergency) absences. PTO accrual increases with increasing tenure at Travers.
