$19.00-$22.00 per hour Job Summary Hwasung Group Inc. is seeking a dependable, safety-conscious, and hardworking Warehouse and Production Associate to support our elevator component operations and general warehouse activities at our Florence, South Carolina facility. The primary focus of this position is receiving, inspecting, counting, labeling, organizing, staging, processing, and shipping elevator components and industrial materials. The position involves frequent material handling, forklift operation, inventory tracking, and physical warehouse work. This employee may also assist with production, assembly, packaging, shipping, receiving, kitting, and other warehouse responsibilities as needed. The ideal candidate is reliable, physically capable, organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced industrial warehouse environment. Training will be provided. Learn more at www.hwasunggroup.com . Primary ResponsibilitiesWarehouse & Material Handling Operations Receive and unload pallets, containers, and inbound materials. Verify part numbers, quantities, weights, labels, and product descriptions against bills of lading, packing slips, work orders, and inventory records. Inspect incoming products and pallets for damage, shortages, incorrect labeling, or other discrepancies. Count, sort, stack, organize, and store materials in designated warehouse locations. Apply correct product labels and identification markings. Pick and prepare materials according to customer orders and shipping instructions. Build, wrap, strap, label, and stage pallets for shipment. Safely load and unload materials using forklifts, pallet jacks, hoists, and other material-handling equipment. Properly secure materials to prevent shifting or damage during storage and transportation. Maintain accurate inventory records for incoming, stored, staged, and outgoing materials. Report damaged, defective, missing, or incorrectly labeled materials to management. Communicate inventory shortages and operational issues promptly. Maintain clean, safe, and organized storage and production areas. General Warehouse & Production Responsibilities Receive, inspect, count, and store incoming products and materials. Review work orders and follow written and verbal instructions. Pick, package, label, and prepare products for customer orders. Load and unload trucks, containers, pallets, racks, and shelving. Move materials between receiving, storage, production, staging, and shipping areas. Assist with general production, assembly, kitting, packaging, processing, and logistics activities. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, electric hoists, and other warehouse equipment after required training. Assist with cycle counts and physical inventory. Investigate and report inventory discrepancies. Maintain accurate shipping, receiving, and inventory documentation. Keep work areas, equipment, tools, aisles, and storage locations clean and organized. Follow all company safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment. Assist with opening and securing assigned warehouse areas. Perform other production and warehouse duties as assigned. Required Skills & Qualifications Must be at least 18 years of age. Ability to safely perform repetitive physical work. Strong counting skills and ability to verify large quantities accurately. Ability to read and understand work orders, bills of lading, packing slips, product labels, and inventory records. Basic math skills, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and decimals. Ability to operate or learn to operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment. Strong attention to detail and organization. Ability to identify and report damaged, missing, defective, or incorrectly labeled materials. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Effective communication with supervisors and coworkers. Ability to manage time and complete assigned work efficiently. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Preferred Experience High school diploma or equivalent. Previous experience in manufacturing, warehousing, shipping, receiving, logistics, construction, or material handling. Previous forklift experience. Experience handling heavy industrial materials. Experience with elevator, automotive, steel, cable, wire rope, or mechanical components is a plus. Knowledge of safe loading, stacking, wrapping, strapping, and cargo securement practices. Physical Requirements This position requires considerable physical activity throughout the workday.
