- Greenville is seeking a reliable, safety-conscious, and physically resilient Manufacturing General Laborer for a leading metal heat-treating facility for our customer in the Fountain Inn, SC area .
- Manufacturing General Labor Primary Responsibilities include: Your main responsibility is the efficient physical support of heat-treating operations , ensuring metal loads are prepped, packed, and moved safely across the shop floor.
Load Building:
Assist in organizing, stacking, and building loads of metal components prepped for high-temperature heat treatment.Packaging & Staging:
Carefully pack, stack, and stage finished metal parts for storage or outbound transport.Plant Cleaning & Sanitation:
Perform regular shop cleanup, sweeping, dust/soot removal, and material staging to keep the facility safe and clear.Material Movement:
Safely maneuver raw and finished metal parts around active furnaces and processing bays.Safety Adherence:
Maintain 100% compliance with all plant safety rules, personal protective equipment (PPE) guidelines, and standard operating procedures.Manufacturing General Labor Requirements include:
Physical Capabilities:
Must be able to stand and walk for very long periods of time, bend, twist, reach, and comfortably lift up to 35 lbs. regularly.Environmental Comfort:
Must be comfortable working in a hot, gritty, and soot-filled industrial furnace environment .Required Attire:
Must wear steel-toed boots/shoes and safety glasses at all times on the shop floor. Long pants are strictly required (No shorts or capris allowed).Work Ethic & Reliability:
Looking for a dependable, self-motivated individual with a history of excellent attendance and punctuality.Pace & Safety:
