Service Job Description:
The Material Handler
Shipping is responsible for facilitating the packaging and shipment of Service product.

Duties and Responsibilities Follow battery regulations Load skids as boxes and totes are labeled and ready to ship. Assist with tote verification as needed Practice 5S and safety Ability to interact well with staff members at all levels Take appropriate corrective action for continuous quality improvement and customer satisfaction. Able to react to change effectively and handle other tasks as assigned including working alternate shifts and weekends as needed Physical Demands Standing for long periods of time Repetitive motion Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds Frequent bending, stooping, pushing and pulling of parts and containers Able to work in various temperature conditions

Education and Experience Requirements:

High School or GED diploma required. Experience in shipping and receiving preferred Basic computer skills required Excellent communication skills High level of attention to detail Physical and Weight Lifting Demands The physical and weight lifting demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
