Position Title:
DMA Logistics Location:
Greer, South Carolina Key Responsibilities Order Picking & Material Handling Operate a cherry picker / order picker to retrieve product from high-rack locations (up to 25-30 feet). Pick, stage, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately and on time. Receive, unload, stock, and replenish inventory as needed. Inspect products for damage or defects; re-box materials to meet quality standards. Perform inventory counts and verify quantities using electronic scanning devices. Assist in other warehouse areas as assigned to meet daily operational demands. Technology & Inventory Tracking Use handheld scanners, tablets, and warehouse systems to track inventory and order progress. Accurately record daily productivity and performance metrics in the Labor Tracker system. Follow Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for picking, packing, shipping, and inventory control. Warehouse Operations Support shipping, receiving, fulfillment, and general logistics operations. Cross-train in multiple warehouse functions to support workforce flexibility. Utilize automated and mechanized material-handling equipment. Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment at all times. Prioritize safety, accuracy, and quality over speed. Safety & Compliance Safely operate powered industrial trucks and equipment. Comply with all safety policies, PPE requirements, and training standards. Maintain reliable attendance and follow shift and scheduling requirements. Report safety concerns, equipment issues, and inventory discrepancies promptly. Other Responsibilities Participate in training and continuous improvement initiatives. Perform additional duties as assigned by management. Qualifications & Requirements Education & Experience High school diploma or GED required. 1-3 years of warehouse, logistics, or distribution experience preferred. Prior experience operating a cherry picker or similar elevated equipment strongly preferred. Experience in a fast-paced distribution or manufacturing environment is a plus. Skills & Abilities Comfortable working at heights and operating elevated equipment. Basic math and inventory counting skills. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Familiarity with warehouse management systems and scanning technology. Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Physical Requirements Stand and walk for extended periods. Lift up to 50 pounds (assistance required for heavier items). Climb on and off equipment safely. Use hands and arms continuously to handle products and equipment. Work Environment Indoor distribution center environment with exposure to varying temperatures, noise, and dust. PPE required. Overtime, weekends, or holidays may be required based on business needs. Additional Requirements Must be able to work assigned shifts and adapt to schedule changes.
