SUMMARY OF DUTIES

This position is responsible for receiving, verifying, and inspecting materials transferred from the warehouse for the plating process. Loader/unloaders are accountable for size and count verification, ensuring conformance to all specifications for the plating line, and maintaining established production and quality standards. The role also includes maintaining required documentation and adhering to all safety rules and practices. Additional duties may be assigned by the department supervisor.

): Load and unload parts onto racks in accordance with established plating procedures. Record parts and racks on production log sheets accurately and legibly. Inspect plated parts for appearance, adhesion, and thickness according to customer specifications. Keep floors, stands, racks, and the immediate work area clean and free of debris. Follow all safety rules and practices. Perform routine preventative maintenance as needed. Operate a forklift as required. Follow all quality standards and procedures. Communicate issues and concerns to the line lead. Follow all company policies and procedures.

MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS

): Legible handwriting. Ability to follow written instructions accurately. Ability to use measuring instruments, gauges, and test equipment accurately and proficiently. Proficient understanding of decimals and fractions. Ability to work well with others and demonstrate strong teamwork. Good written and verbal communication skills. Must maintain satisfactory attendance, safety, and job performance. Ability to lift up to 70 pounds at frequent intervals. Ability to stand, stoop, and bend for the entire shift.

$16.00 - $16.75 per hour
