Your role The Material Handler supports warehouse and production operations by safely receiving, moving, storing, and shipping materials using forklifts, SAP, and RF scanners. Working 1st shift at our Ninety‑Six, SC facility, this role ensures accurate documentation, participates in cycle counts, and occasionally assists with shipping paperwork and SAP reports. Strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and proficiency with Microsoft Office are important, with training provided for all required equipment and systems. This role will work the 1st shift (8 am - 5 pm). Location will be at our Warehouse at 4802 96 highway, Ninty-Six, SC. Correctly receives, moves, ships and transfers materials accurately and timely. Responsible for safe truck loading and unloading, staging materials in the warehouses, getting raw materials and/or finished products ready for shipping to customers, internal warehouse transfers and/or production. Must check all labels and documentation for accuracy. Must put away material and record transactions accurately and timely using RF functions. Participates in inventory Cycle counts. Acts as a backup for office personnel making bookings, preparing customer shipments paperwork and running SAP reports. Associated duties will include data entry using laser scanners and/or computer, receipt & shipping document preparation, successful interaction with the QC and production departments, as well as effective communication with colleagues and logistics supervision to ensure accuracy and efficiency. Other duties including housekeeping, lift truck operation, continuous improvement and training as well as training of new techs when required. Staying up-to-date with company safety training and policies. This role will work in non-climate-controlled areas at times. About you High School Diploma or Equivalency required. Preferred 3 plus years of forklift experience in a manufacturing or distribution center environment. Logistics experience is a plus. SAP experience is preferred Training required and provided to use Forklift trucks, SAP system and laser scanners. Proficiency preferred in Microsoft Office, software applications, and SAP.
