This position is primarily responsible for packaging eggs, packaging chickens, maintaining clean production equipment, and accurately recording finished production into inventory . The successful candidate will work directly with the egg production and packaging operation, ensuring finished products are properly packaged, labeled, counted, and placed into stock. Attention to detail is important because the quantities entered into the inventory system must accurately reflect what was actually produced. This is a hands-on production position requiring the ability to work on your feet, follow established procedures, maintain a clean work area, and work as part of a team. Primary Responsibilities Egg Packaging & Production Package eggs according to established procedures and customer specifications. Operate and monitor egg packaging/conveyor equipment. Inspect packaged eggs for proper packaging, labeling, and product quality. Load and organize finished egg products for storage and shipment. Accurately count and record completed production. Chicken Packaging Package chickens according to established procedures. Prepare packaged chickens for storage, inventory, and shipment. Maintain proper organization and cleanliness of the chicken packaging area. Follow all required food-handling and sanitation procedures. Inventory & Production Records Enter completed production into the company's inventory tracking system. Record what was actually produced and packaged after each production run. Verify that physical quantities match the quantities entered into inventory. Assist with inventory counts and correcting discrepancies. Maintain accurate production and inventory records. Basic computer skills required; training will be provided on the company's inventory and production tracking system. Cleaning & Sanitation Clean egg packaging equipment and related production equipment after production. Clean and maintain work areas, conveyors, tables, floors, and other production surfaces. Follow established cleaning and sanitation procedures. Properly store cleaning equipment and supplies after use. Warehouse Support Move finished products and supplies using pallet jacks and other equipment. Assist with loading and unloading as needed. Organize finished product and production supplies. Assist with receiving and stocking materials. Skills & Qualifications Previous experience in food production, egg packaging, chicken processing, warehouse, or manufacturing is helpful but not required. Ability to perform repetitive physical work while maintaining accuracy. Ability to stand and work for extended periods. Strong attention to detail when counting, packaging, and recording production. Basic computer skills and ability to enter information accurately. Experience with an ERP, AS/400, inventory system, or similar computer system is a plus; training will be provided . Ability to operate a pallet jack safely; forklift experience is a plus. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Ability to maintain a clean and organized work area. Dependable attendance and willingness to work as part of a team.

Pay:

$15.00 - $18.00 per hour Expected hours: 30.0 - 40.0 per week
