WAREHOUSE OPERATOR
The Warehouse Operator is responsible for safely performing shipping, receiving, warehouse functions, and production support in a chemical manufacturing environment. This role ensures accurate material handling, production of finished goods, order fulfillment, cleanliness, and adherence to company safety policies.
Primary responsibilities include:
Active contributor and leader of Hydrite's Safety Vision, Mission and Values. Provides consistent, safety-focused support for all shipping, receiving, and operational functions. Receive incoming materials and verify contents and quantities against purchase orders. Load and unload materials from trucks using appropriate equipment. Inspect, package, stretch-wrap, and band shipments to ensure proper labeling and secure transport. Prepare and document outgoing shipments. Unload bulk raw materials and intermediates into designated storage or packaging areas. Pull inventory for customer orders based on pick tickets. Store finished goods and raw materials. Maintain warehouse organization and cleanliness. Operate equipment to mix and process raw materials. Maintain clean work areas using appropriate equipment. Operate forklifts and material handling equipment safely. Operate digital scales accurately. Follow company safety protocols and chemical handling procedures. Communicate effectively with team members. Perform other tasks as assigned.
REPORTING STRUCTURE
This position reports to the Warehouse Supervisor.
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
High School Diploma or GED preferred Previous warehouse experience recommended. Ability to operate a forklift. Basic computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, previous ERP experience a plus. Ability to follow instructions and work independently. Must have communication and interpersonal skills, along with the ability to read, write, and speak English.
