Warehouse Worker Job Description The Warehouse Worker operates a stand-up forklift to move parts and materials throughout the facility, supports shipping and receiving activities, and ensures orders are picked, packed, and staged accurately. This role helps maintain organized inventory, contributes to a clean and safe warehouse environment, and assists with general warehouse operations as needed to keep daily activities running smoothly. Responsibilities Operate a stand-up forklift safely and efficiently to transport parts and materials throughout the warehouse. Pick customer orders accurately using pick sheets, scanners, or warehouse systems for both external shipments and internal production needs. Pack parts and materials for shipment while maintaining quality standards and ensuring items are properly labeled and protected. Assist with loading and unloading deliveries, preventing product damage and ensuring materials are handled correctly. Move inventory between receiving, storage, staging, and shipping locations to support smooth material flow. Organize inventory and ensure materials are stored in proper, clearly identified locations. Maintain accurate inventory locations and contribute to overall warehouse organization. Support shipping, receiving, and inventory activities, including staging orders and verifying materials as needed. Perform warehouse housekeeping duties and maintain a clean, orderly, and safe work area. Follow all forklift and warehouse safety procedures consistently and report any safety concerns promptly. Assist team members with general warehouse operations during slower periods and stay productive by helping where needed. Work both independently and collaboratively to meet daily operational goals in a fast-paced but organized environment. Essential Skills Current forklift certification required. Previous stand-up forklift experience preferred, with the ability to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Demonstrated experience in loading, unloading, and material handling in a warehouse environment. Experience supporting shipping and receiving functions, including moving inventory between key warehouse locations. Ability to pick and pack orders accurately while maintaining quality and attention to detail. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in handling inventory and documentation. Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary. Reliable attendance and punctuality. Comfortable working on your feet throughout the shift. Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Commitment to following all forklift and warehouse safety procedures. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Moncks Corner, SC. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
