Job Overview Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and become a vital part of our logistics and distribution operations! In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping logistics. Your proactive approach will help us maintain efficient warehouse operations, support e-commerce order processing, and uphold trade compliance standards. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to develop your skills in logistics and inventory software while contributing to a fast-paced environment that values teamwork and precision. Responsibilities Track inventory levels, process orders, and update stock records accurately. Pick, pack, and prepare orders of flooring, using forklifts, pallet jacks, and wrapping/strapping tools and other material handling equipment. Load and unload shipments efficiently using forklifts and while adhering to safety protocols. Conduct inventory counts and manage stock replenishment through inventory management software to ensure optimal stock levels. Prepare shipments for dispatch by packaging products securely and verifying shipping & receiving documentation. Maintain a clean, organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves, organizing storage areas, and ensuring safety standards are met. Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping schedules, manage order fulfillment timelines, and optimize warehouse distribution processes. Perform data entry tasks related to shipment tracking, inventory updates, and order processing with accuracy. Support customer service efforts by providing timely updates on order status and resolving any discrepancies or issues promptly. Experience Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated individuals eager to learn! Familiarity with warehouse operations including picking & packing, shipping & receiving, and inventory management is highly desirable. Basic math skills are essential for counting stock quantities and verifying shipment details accurately. Experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks or order pickers with proper certification is preferred; training can be provided if needed. Strong attention to detail combined with excellent organizational skills ensures accuracy in data entry and stock handling.
