We are seeking a dependable Packaging Technician/Material Handler to support warehouse and shipping operations by moving materials, packaging products, and transporting inventory between facilities in the Summerville area. This is a contract position that could lead to a full-time opportunity!

Pay:

$23-$25hr

Shift:

7am-3:30pm

Monday-Friday Packaging Technician/Material Handler Responsibilities:

Move, stage, and transport raw materials, work-in-process, and finished goods Package, crate, preserve, and prepare products for shipment Operate forklifts, bridge cranes, jib cranes, hand trucks, and other material handling equipment Operate a variety of tools: hand tools, power tools, blast cleaning, pressure washer systems, gauges, measuring equipment, wrapping and packaging equipment. Work with a variety of material such as wood, non-ferrous metals and alloys. Drive a light-duty box truck to transport inventory to/from an offsite warehouse Read blueprints and work instructions Maintain a clean, safe work area and support warehouse operations

Packaging Technician/Material Handler Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED Valid U.S. driver's license Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
