Job Summary Kudzu Staffing is seeking a dedicated Metal Fabrication General Laborer for the 2nd shift to join our manufacturing team. This role involves supporting various fabrication processes, assisting with machine operation, and ensuring the quality and safety standards are upheld throughout production. The ideal candidate will possess mechanical aptitude, a strong work ethic, and a commitment to precision in a fast-paced environment. This position offers an opportunity to develop technical skills within a dynamic metal fabrication facility. Responsibilities Assist with the setup and operation of fabrication machinery including robotic welders and paint lines. Interpret mechanical blueprints and technical drawings to assist in accurate fabrication and assembly. Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas, ensuring compliance with safety protocols at all times. Support welding and paint line operations. Follow safety standards in production environments, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE). Conduct quality inspections during manufacturing processes to identify defects or deviations from specifications. Support team members in assembly tasks requiring mechanical knowledge and shop math skills. Experience Prior experience working in a manufacturing or metal fabrication environment is preferred but not required. Basic understanding of welding processes, forming machines, tooling, and safety standards in production settings. Mechanical aptitude with the ability to operate hand tools and mechanical measuring instruments accurately. Strong attention to detail combined with the ability to follow instructions precisely ensures quality workmanship. Pay:
