Warehouse & Delivery Associate in

Rock Hill, SC Job Description:

Supports day to day branch operations by performing warehouse functions (receiving, storing, picking, and shipping product) and making safe, timely deliveries to customers using company vehicles. This is a safety sensitive position requiring constant awareness and safe work practices. Alcohol Testing:

Passing urine drug screen in accordance with company policy and any applicable federal or state requirements. Continued compliance with all company drug and alcohol policies, including any required random, post-accident, or reasonable suspicion testing.

DOT / FMCSA

Medical Qualification:

Meeting the physical qualifications to operate a commercial motor vehicle under 49 CFR §391.41 (FMCSA). Obtaining and maintaining a valid DOT medical certificate; .Failure to meet or maintain any of the above conditions may result in withdrawal of a job offer, reassignment (if available), or termination of employment, consistent with applicable law and company policy.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED preferred. Warehouse or distribution experience preferred; Valid driver's license from state of residence with at least three (3) years of driving history.

Preferred:

At least one (1) year of experience operating a commercial motor vehicle (GVWR 10,001 lbs. or more) within the last 36 months. Ability to read and match orders/ship tickets to items picked and delivered. Strong skills in reading, writing, basic math, data entry, reasoning, and analysis. Certification to operate power truck equipment (e.g., forklifts) as required by the company. Must meet the physical qualifications to operate a motor vehicle in accordance with FMCSA Section 391.41.

Physical Requirements:

Frequent standing, walking, lifting, pulling, pushing, bending, squatting, climbing, and kneeling. Regular handling and lifting of up to 50 lbs unassisted; occasional lifting of up to 75 lbs. Ability to work in typical warehouse conditions, including exposure to extreme temperatures, loud noise, and moving machinery. Frequent driving as a key part of the role; regular visits to customer sites with exposure to various weather and environmental conditions. Must follow all company and customer safety protocols. Specific vision abilities include close, distance, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. This is a safety sensitive position; the ability to work in a constant state of awareness and in a safe manner is imperative.
