Warehouse Associate Rapid City, 1511 Turbine Drive, Rapid City, SD 57703 We are seeking a highly motivated Warehouse Associate to join our team at AMCON Distributing Company. As a Warehouse Associate , you will be responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging products for delivery to our valued retail partners. Your attention to detail, commitment to maintaining a clean and organized workspace, and ability to work collaboratively with team members are essential in ensuring the efficient flow of products through our distribution facility. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments of products. Verify accuracy of received items and ensure proper documentation. Sort, label, and store products in designated warehouse locations. Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery to our retail partners. Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently. Maintain inventory accuracy by conducting regular cycle counts and stock replenishment. Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment. Collaborate with team members and communicate any issues or discrepancies. Follow established procedures and safety guidelines in all warehouse activities. Participate in training programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
High school diploma or equivalent. Ability to lift 40-60 pounds and to stand, bend and lift regularly. 18 years of age or older, if operating power equipment. 16 years of age or older, if operating non-power equipment. Previous experience in a warehouse or similar role is preferred. Familiarity with warehouse operations and basic inventory management practices. Ability to operate forklifts and other warehouse equipment (certification is a plus). Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting heavy objects. Attention to detail and accuracy in order picking and packing. Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and data entry. Strong organizational and time management skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings if needed. Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship. APPLY NOW
