Job Description

FUNCTION
Perform duties to move parts, materials, and components to designated areas in the plant utilizing forklift.
RESPONSIBILITES
Sequence the delivery of packaging materials to designated locations according to needs of operation. Ensure correct supplies for boxing and packing finished goods are available. Inventory raw material and production output. Pull and deliver components to and from production and assembly areas according to work orders and/or oral instructions. Completes appropriate documentation regarding relocated material/product and computer data entry of required information into production system. Stack, crush, dispose of, or recycle waste packing material such as cardboard cartons and pallets. Take inventory and complete cycle counting. Responsible for any other special projects as assigned.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED; competency in basic math At least one year experience in similar environment Forklift operation Computer (data entry) skills Ability to work with minimal supervision.'
